Vegetable Bread

A delicious and nutritious vegetable bread that's perfect for sandwiches or as a side. Made with wholesome flour and packed with flavors from fresh vegetables.

Ingredients:

  • 250g flour
  • 100g carrot
  • 50g onion
  • 50g zucchini
  • 5g salt
  • 10g yeast
  • 150ml water
  • 15g olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. In a separate bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water and let it activate for about 5 minutes.
  3. Grate the carrot and zucchini, and finely chop the onion.
  4. Add the activated yeast mixture and olive oil to the flour. Mix well until a dough forms.
  5. Fold in the grated carrot, zucchini, and chopped onion into the dough until evenly distributed.
  6. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
  7. Shape the dough into a loaf and place it in a greased loaf pan. Cover it with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 30-45 minutes, or until doubled in size.
  8. Once risen, bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the bread sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack before slicing.
