Vegetable Bread

A delicious and nutritious vegetable bread enriched with flavors of onion and garlic, perfect for any meal.

Ingredients:

  • 200g flour
  • 100g carrot, finely grated
  • 50g onion, finely chopped
  • 30g garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 7g yeast
  • 200ml water
  • 10g butter

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, sugar, and yeast. Mix well.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the water, grated carrot, chopped onion, and minced garlic. Stir until well combined.
  3. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  6. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  7. After the dough has risen, punch it down and shape it into a loaf.
  8. Place the shaped dough into a greased loaf pan and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
  10. Remove from the pan and let it cool on a wire rack before slicing.
