This Vegetable Bread is a delightful and healthy option packed with flavors from fresh veggies like carrots and zucchini. A perfect addition to your meal or a standalone snack!

Ingredients:

  • 200g flour
  • 100g grated carrot
  • 100g grated zucchini
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 7g yeast
  • 200ml water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Make a well in the center and add the yeast.
  2. Warm the water and add it to the well along with olive oil. Mix until combined.
  3. Add grated carrot and zucchini to the mixture and knead the dough until smooth and elastic.
  4. Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
  5. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  6. Punch down the risen dough and shape it into a loaf or place it in a bread tin.
  7. Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
  8. Let it cool on a rack before slicing.
