Vegetable Bread

A delicious and wholesome vegetable bread made with fresh ingredients like carrots, zucchini, and onions. This bread is perfect for sandwiches or as a side for any meal.

Ingredients:

  • 300g flour
  • 150g carrot, grated
  • 150g zucchini, grated
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 7g yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 200ml warm water

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
  2. Add the grated carrot, grated zucchini, and chopped onion to the dry ingredients.
  3. Slowly pour warm water into the mixture and knead until you obtain a smooth dough.
  4. Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  6. Once risen, punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf.
  7. Place the loaf in a baking tin and let it rise again for another 30 minutes.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
  9. Allow to cool on a wire rack before slicing.
