  • 50g butter
  • 250ml milk
  • 200g grated carrot
  • 100g chopped onion
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 7g yeast

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and salt. Mix well.
  2. In a separate bowl, melt the butter and mix it with the warm milk. Add the yeast to the mixture and let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  3. Add the yeast mixture to the flour mixture. Knead until you form a smooth dough.
  4. Incorporate the grated carrot and chopped onion into the dough, kneading until evenly distributed.
  5. Cover the bowl with a damp towel and let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  6. Preheat your oven to 180°C.
  7. Once risen, shape the dough into a loaf and place it into a greased loaf pan. Let it rise again for 30 minutes.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
