Vegetable and Chicken Casserole

A comforting and nutritious chicken casserole mixed with fresh vegetables that will delight your taste buds and provide a wholesome meal for your family.

Ingredients:

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 2 potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 2 carrots
  • 200g broccoli
  • 100g cheese
  • 50g butter
  • 500ml milk
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large pot, boil the potatoes until tender, then drain and mash them with milk and butter until creamy.
  3. In another pot, sauté chopped onions and diced chicken breasts until the chicken is browned.
  4. Add sliced carrots and broccoli florets to the pot and cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. Combine the chicken and vegetables with the mashed potatoes in a baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle cheese on top and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
