Vegetable and Chicken Casserole
A hearty and comforting vegetable and chicken casserole that brings together tender chicken, nutritious vegetables, and a creamy sauce, baked to perfection for a satisfying meal.
Ingredients:
- 500g chicken breast
- 200g broccoli
- 200g carrot
- 200g potato
- 250ml cream
- 100g cheese
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 50g butter
- salt
- pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until translucent.
- Add diced chicken breast to the skillet and cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add chopped broccoli and diced carrots to the skillet. Cook for a few more minutes.
- In a large baking dish, combine the cooked chicken and vegetables with diced potato.
- Pour cream over the mixture and sprinkle grated cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
