Tuna and Egg Delight Wrap
A delicious Tuna Salad Wrap made with large eggs, canned tuna, and a creamy mix of mayonnaise and Dijon mustard, garnished with fresh dill, green onion, and wrapped in lettuce leaves.
Ingredients:
- 2 large eggs
- 1 can (5 oz) tuna, drained
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
- 1 green onion, finely chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 large lettuce leaves (or any other wrap alternative)
Instructions:
- Boil the eggs in a pot of water for about 10-12 minutes until hard-boiled. Once done, place the eggs in cold water to cool, then peel and chop them into small pieces.
- In a bowl, combine the drained tuna, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, chopped dill, and green onion. Mix well until fully combined.
- Gently fold in the chopped eggs, being careful not to mash them too much. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Lay a large lettuce leaf on a flat surface. Spoon a good amount of the tuna and egg mixture onto the center of the leaf.
- Wrap the lettuce around the filling tightly, folding in the sides as you go, to create a neatly packed wrap.
- Repeat with the second lettuce leaf and remaining filling.
- Slice in half and serve immediately, or wrap in parchment paper for a convenient on-the-go meal.
