Savory Vegetable Flatbread

This savory vegetable flatbread is a delicious mix of fresh ingredients, perfect for a light meal or as an appetizer. The combination of flour and various vegetables adds flavor and nutrition.

Ingredients:

  • 250g flour
  • 100g carrot
  • 50g onion
  • 50g zucchini
  • 50g cheese
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 200ml water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt.
  2. Grate the carrot and zucchini, and finely chop the onion. Add all the vegetables to the flour mixture.
  3. Add the olive oil and gradually pour in the water while mixing until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  7. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to a thickness of about 1 cm.
  8. Place the rolled-out dough on a baking sheet.
  9. Sprinkle cheese on top of the dough and add extra veggies if desired.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and cut into pieces before serving.
