Savory Vegetable Flatbread
This savory vegetable flatbread is a delicious mix of fresh ingredients, perfect for a light meal or as an appetizer. The combination of flour and various vegetables adds flavor and nutrition.
Ingredients:
- 250g flour
- 100g carrot
- 50g onion
- 50g zucchini
- 50g cheese
- 1 tsp salt
- 200ml water
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt.
- Grate the carrot and zucchini, and finely chop the onion. Add all the vegetables to the flour mixture.
- Add the olive oil and gradually pour in the water while mixing until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface to a thickness of about 1 cm.
- Place the rolled-out dough on a baking sheet.
- Sprinkle cheese on top of the dough and add extra veggies if desired.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and cut into pieces before serving.
