Ingredients:

  • 300g flour
  • 100g spinach
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 30g butter
  • 7g sugar
  • 7g yeast
  • 200ml milk
  • salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and yeast. Add a pinch of salt.
  2. In a small saucepan, melt the butter and add the garlic, sautéing until fragrant. Add the spinach and cook until wilted.
  3. Allow the spinach mixture to cool slightly and then add it to the flour mixture.
  4. Pour in the milk and knead the dough until smooth and elastic.
  5. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  6. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  7. Shape the risen dough into a loaf and place it in a greased loaf pan.
  8. Let it rise again for about 30 minutes, then bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
  9. Cool on a wire rack before slicing.
