A delicious and nourishing bread made with wholesome vegetables like carrot and zucchini, perfect for any meal or snack.

Ingredients:

  • 300g flour
  • 100g carrot
  • 100g zucchini
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 10g butter
  • 200ml milk
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp yeast

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Grate the carrot and zucchini, then finely chop the garlic.
  3. In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, and salt. In a separate bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm milk and let it sit for a few minutes until frothy.
  4. Combine the flour mixture with the yeast mixture, then add the grated carrot, zucchini, and garlic. Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  6. Once risen, shape the dough into a loaf and place it in a greased loaf tin. Let it rise again for 30 minutes.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and hollow-sounding when tapped. Allow to cool before slicing.
