A delicious and healthy savory bread packed with veggies, perfect for breakfast or as a snack.

Ingredients:

  • 300g flour
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 7g yeast
  • 200ml warm water
  • 100g grated carrot
  • 50g chopped onion
  • 50g chopped spinach
  • 50g grated zucchini

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix the warm water with yeast and sugar. Let it sit for 10 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, grated carrot, chopped onion, chopped spinach, and grated zucchini.
  3. Add the yeast mixture to the dry ingredients and knead until you have a smooth dough.
  4. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  6. Once the dough has risen, shape it into a loaf and place it in a greased loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the bread sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
  8. Let the bread cool on a wire rack before slicing.
