Savory Vegetable Bread

A delicious and wholesome savory vegetable bread made with fresh vegetables and enriched with flour for a delightful texture. Perfect as a side or a snack!

Ingredients:

  • 250g flour
  • 100g carrot
  • 50g onion
  • 50g zucchini
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 7g yeast
  • 150ml warm water

Instructions:

  1. Grate the carrot and zucchini, and finely chop the onion.
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, sugar, and yeast together.
  3. Add the grated vegetables to the flour mixture.
  4. Gradually pour in the warm water and mix until a dough forms.
  5. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until it's smooth and elastic.
  6. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
  7. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  8. Once the dough has risen, punch it down and shape it into a loaf.
  9. Place the loaf on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  10. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
