Parmesan Potato Bake

A delicious and hearty Parmesan Potato Bake that is perfect for bulking up your meal plan. This dish features layers of cheesy, creamy potatoes baked to perfection, making it a comforting main course.

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 100 g parmesan cheese, grated
  • 200 ml heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnishing (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C.
  2. Peel and slice the potatoes into thin rounds.
  3. In a bowl, mix the sliced potatoes with minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper until well coated.
  4. In a baking dish, layer half of the potato mixture evenly across the bottom.
  5. Pour half of the heavy cream over the first layer, then sprinkle half of the grated parmesan cheese on top.
  6. Add the remaining potato slices in another layer, followed by the rest of the heavy cream and the remaining parmesan cheese on top.
  7. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the potatoes are tender when pierced with a fork.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving, and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
