Garlic Mashed Potatoes

A creamy side dish, Garlic Mashed Potatoes are a perfect accompaniment to any main course, bringing warmth and flavor to your table.

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 100 g butter
  • 200 ml milk
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into quarters.
  2. Place the potatoes in a large pot and cover with cold water. Add a pinch of salt and bring to a boil.
  3. Once boiling, reduce heat and simmer until the potatoes are tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  4. In the last 5 minutes of cooking, add the garlic cloves to the pot with the potatoes.
  5. Drain the potatoes and garlic, and return them to the pot.
  6. Add the butter and milk to the pot, and mash everything together until smooth and creamy.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve warm.
