  • 400g broccoli
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 30ml olive oil
  • 1 lemon (juiced)
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Wash and cut the broccoli into bite-sized florets.
  2. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and blanch the broccoli for 2-3 minutes until bright green.
  3. Drain the broccoli and immediately submerge it in ice water to stop the cooking process.
  4. In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and add minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant.
  5. Add the blanched broccoli to the pan and stir to coat with the garlic oil.
  6. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the broccoli and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Toss everything together and cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through before serving.
