Garlic Butter Broccoli and Carrots
A simple and healthy side dish featuring vibrant broccoli and carrots sautéed in garlic butter. Perfect as a complement to any main course.
Ingredients:
- 300g broccoli
- 200g carrot
- 30g butter
- 3 cloves garlic
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Begin by washing the broccoli and cutting it into florets. Peel the carrots and cut them into thin slices.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the carrots to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they start to soften.
- Next, add the broccoli florets to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper, and cover the skillet to steam the vegetables for another 5 minutes, or until they are tender yet crisp.
- Remove the lid and stir everything together for another minute. Check the seasoning and add more salt and pepper if needed.
- Serve warm as a delicious side dish.
