Garlic Butter Broccoli and Carrots
A delicious and nutritious side dish made with fresh garlic, buttery goodness, and vibrant broccoli and carrots. Perfect for complementing any meal!
Ingredients:
- 200g broccoli
- 150g carrots
- 3 cloves garlic
- 30g butter
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Wash the broccoli and carrots under cold water. Cut the broccoli into florets and the carrots into thin slices.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the sliced carrots to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until they start to soften.
- Next, add the broccoli florets to the skillet, along with a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir well to combine.
- Cover the skillet and cook for another 5-7 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
- Remove from heat and serve immediately as a delicious side dish.
