Creamy Garlic Chicken with Spinach and Broccoli
A delicious creamy garlic chicken dish accompanied by spinach and broccoli, perfect for a hearty main course.
Ingredients:
- 500g chicken breast
- 200g broccoli
- 150g spinach
- 4 cloves garlic
- 200ml cream
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and golden brown.
- Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the broccoli and a splash of water, covering the pan to steam the broccoli for about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the spinach and cream, cooking until the spinach has wilted and the sauce is slightly thickened.
- Return the chicken to the pan, spooning the creamy sauce over the top. Cook for another 2 minutes to heat through.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional spinach if desired.
