Creamy Garlic Chicken with Broccoli and Rice
A delicious and creamy garlic chicken dish served with fresh broccoli and fluffy rice. Perfect for a comforting main course!
Ingredients:
- 2 chicken breasts (about 500g)
- 200g broccoli florets
- 200g rice
- 3 cloves garlic
- 200ml cream
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions:
- Cook the rice according to package instructions until fluffy.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook until golden brown on both sides and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet and coat it in the creamy garlic sauce. Add broccoli florets and cook for an additional 5 minutes until broccoli is tender.
- Serve the creamy garlic chicken over the rice.
