Creamy Chicken and Broccoli Pasta
A delicious creamy pasta dish featuring tender chicken and fresh broccoli, perfect for a wholesome main course meal.
Ingredients:
- 250 grams pasta
- 200 grams chicken breast
- 150 grams broccoli
- 200 grams cream
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tablespoons peanut oil
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the peanut oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Add the chicken breast cut into bite-sized pieces to the skillet, and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the broccoli florets and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until they are tender but still vibrant in color.
- Pour in the cream, season with salt and pepper, and stir to combine everything well. Let it simmer for a couple of minutes to thicken the sauce.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything together until the pasta is coated in the creamy sauce.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional salt and pepper if desired.
