Creamy Chicken and Broccoli Casserole
A hearty and flavorful chicken and broccoli casserole with a creamy cheese sauce, perfect for a comforting family dinner.
Ingredients:
- 500g chicken breast
- 300g broccoli
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 250g cheese
- 200ml milk
- 300g pasta
- butter
- salt
- pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions, drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt some butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until fragrant and translucent.
- Add the diced chicken breast to the skillet and cook until it’s no longer pink. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add the chopped broccoli to the skillet and stir for a few minutes until it's tender.
- In a bowl, combine cooked pasta, chicken, broccoli, and shredded cheese. Stir in the milk and mix well.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased casserole dish, top with additional cheese if desired.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
