Creamy Chicken and Broccoli Casserole

A hearty and flavorful chicken and broccoli casserole with a creamy cheese sauce, perfect for a comforting family dinner.

Ingredients:

  • 500g chicken breast
  • 300g broccoli
  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 250g cheese
  • 200ml milk
  • 300g pasta
  • butter
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions, drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, melt some butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until fragrant and translucent.
  4. Add the diced chicken breast to the skillet and cook until it’s no longer pink. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Add the chopped broccoli to the skillet and stir for a few minutes until it's tender.
  6. In a bowl, combine cooked pasta, chicken, broccoli, and shredded cheese. Stir in the milk and mix well.
  7. Transfer the mixture into a greased casserole dish, top with additional cheese if desired.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
