Cheesy Garlic Potato Bread
Deliciously cheesy garlic potato bread made with simple ingredients. Perfect as a side dish or a snack!
Ingredients:
- 500g flour
- 300g potato (mashed)
- 100g cheese (shredded)
- 50g butter
- 10g garlic (minced)
- 7g sugar
- 10g salt
- 20g yeast
- 250ml water (warm)
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the warm water and sugar, then add the yeast and let it sit for about 10 minutes until bubbly.
- In a separate bowl, mix the mashed potato, butter, and minced garlic together until smooth.
- Add the potato mixture to the yeast mixture and blend well.
- Gradually add the flour and salt, kneading the dough until smooth and elastic, about 10 minutes.
- Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
- Once risen, punch down the dough and knead in the shredded cheese.
- Shape the dough into a loaf and place it in a greased baking pan. Let it rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serve warm.
