Cheesy Chicken and Vegetable Bake
A hearty and comforting cheesy chicken and vegetable bake featuring tender chicken, nutritious vegetables, and a creamy cheese sauce, baked to perfection.
Ingredients:
- 500g chicken breast
- 200g broccoli
- 200g carrots
- 200g cheese
- 150ml cream
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- salt
- pepper
- butter
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a large skillet, melt some butter over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until golden.
- Add diced chicken breast to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
- Stir in chopped broccoli and sliced carrots; cook for another 5 minutes until slightly tender.
- In a separate bowl, mix cream and grated cheese together until well combined.
- Transfer the chicken and vegetable mixture into a baking dish, pour the cheese sauce over the top, and mix until everything is coated.
- Sprinkle additional cheese on top if desired.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
