Ingredients:

  • 200g rice
  • 300g broccoli
  • 150g cheese
  • 50g butter
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 250ml milk

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Cook the rice according to package instructions and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until softened.
  4. Add the broccoli florets to the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes until slightly tender.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked rice, sautéed onion, garlic, and broccoli, along with milk and shredded cheese. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
  6. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish and top with additional cheese if desired.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown on top.
