  • 250g flour
  • 200g sugar
  • 300g grated carrot
  • 3 eggs
  • 100g butter
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the sugar and softened butter together until creamy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the grated carrots and mix until combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
