Carrot Cake Delight

A delicious moist carrot cake with a hint of sweetness, perfect for dessert lovers.

Ingredients:

  • 300g grated carrots
  • 200g flour
  • 200g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 100g butter
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 100g walnuts (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the grated carrots, sugar, and melted butter together until well combined.
  3. Add the eggs, and mix until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and cinnamon.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the walnuts if using.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool before slicing and serving.
