Ingredients:

  • 300g flour
  • 200g sugar
  • 250g grated carrot
  • 3 eggs
  • 200ml milk
  • 100g butter
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg together.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs and then add the milk and melted butter, mixing well.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until just mixed, then fold in the grated carrot.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan, spreading it evenly.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool before frosting with your desired cream cheese frosting or enjoy it plain.
