Carrot Cake

A delightful and moist carrot cake with a hint of sweetness, perfect for dessert lovers and a great way to incorporate veggies into a sweet treat.

Ingredients:

  • 250g flour
  • 200g sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 300g grated carrot
  • 200ml sunflower oil
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 100g chopped nuts (optional)
  • Cream cheese frosting (for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease a cake tin.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and salt. Mix well.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs and add the sunflower oil, then stir in the grated carrot.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and mix until well combined. Add chopped nuts if desired.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake tin and smooth out the top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Let the cake cool before frosting with cream cheese frosting. Serve and enjoy!
