Carrot Cake

A delightful and moist carrot cake, layered with cream cheese frosting, perfect for any dessert lover.

Ingredients:

  • 200g flour
  • 300g sugar
  • 250g grated carrot
  • 4 large eggs
  • 200ml vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 200g cream cheese
  • 100g butter

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the eggs and vegetable oil, then add the grated carrot.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until just mixed.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and bake for about 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let the cake cool completely before frosting.
  7. For the cream cheese frosting, beat the cream cheese and butter until creamy, then spread over the cooled cake.
