Carrot Cake

A delicious and moist carrot cake made with fresh carrots and simple ingredients, topped with cream cheese frosting. Perfect for dessert lovers!

Ingredients:

  • 200g flour
  • 250g sugar
  • 240ml vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 300g grated carrot
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 100g cream cheese
  • 50g butter

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the sugar, eggs, and vegetable oil until well combined.
  3. Add the grated carrots and mix until fully incorporated.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let the cake cool completely before frosting.
  8. For the cream cheese frosting, beat together the cream cheese, butter, and sugar until smooth and creamy.
  9. Spread the frosting evenly over the cooled cake.
