  • 200g all-purpose flour
  • 150g sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 200g grated carrots
  • 150g grated apples
  • 100ml vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 100g chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the sugar and eggs until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the grated carrots and grated apples to the mixture, stirring to combine.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.

  6. Gently fold in chopped walnuts, if using, and add the vegetable oil, mixing well.
