Brie and Jamon Persimmon Toasts

A delightful combination of rich brie cheese, savory jamon, and sweet persimmons served on crispy bread, perfect for a quick appetizer that harmonizes flavors beautifully.

Ingredients:

  • 200g jamon
  • 150g brie cheese
  • 2 ripe persimmons
  • 4 slices of bread (preferably ciabatta or sourdough)
  • 2 tablespoons honey (optional)
  • Fresh arugula for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Toast the slices of bread in the skillet until golden brown and crispy on both sides. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, slightly warm the jamon just until it's fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat.
  4. Slice the brie cheese and persimmons into thin pieces.
  5. On each slice of toasted bread, layer slices of brie followed by warm jamon and persimmon slices.
  6. Drizzle with honey for added sweetness if desired.
  7. Garnish with fresh arugula if you like before serving.
