Brie and Jamon Persimmon Toasts
A delightful combination of rich brie cheese, savory jamon, and sweet persimmons served on crispy bread, perfect for a quick appetizer that harmonizes flavors beautifully.
Ingredients:
- 200g jamon
- 150g brie cheese
- 2 ripe persimmons
- 4 slices of bread (preferably ciabatta or sourdough)
- 2 tablespoons honey (optional)
- Fresh arugula for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- Toast the slices of bread in the skillet until golden brown and crispy on both sides. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, slightly warm the jamon just until it's fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Slice the brie cheese and persimmons into thin pieces.
- On each slice of toasted bread, layer slices of brie followed by warm jamon and persimmon slices.
- Drizzle with honey for added sweetness if desired.
- Garnish with fresh arugula if you like before serving.
